My last lead rope is the rope that started it all – the Big Brute®. This is the rope I used for 10 years when I hauled horses commercially. It is a 5/8 inch diameter rope, with a 12,000 pound test weight, with a bull snap that is twice the size of that used on the Brute® rope. I have never yet heard of a horse breaking one of these ropes. Most people who purchase this rope either have a horse that pulls, that they want to stop from pulling, or they have draft horses. I have never seen a tougher lead rope than the Big Brute®.
