Pony ropes are one of my most popular using ropes. They are 1/2 inch diameter rope, 12 feet long with either a trigger snap or a hondo at one end (your choice), and the other end weighted. They are 12 feet long, so right between a lunge line and a lead rope. They are the perfect rope if you want to pony a horse - they are also very good to use as a buttrope for a baby to teach them to lead, where leadropes tend to be too short. If you get it with the hondo, you have close to the full rope strength so if you have a horse that breaks leadropes, this is a good rope for them. It's just a very handy rope to have around the barn, that you won't find at any stores.
